Zaroffs Deli

How did a nice Jewish deli end up on this side of Highway 394, next to a Galyan's? Goes to show, you can take the deli out of New York. But you can't take New York out of this Jewish deli. The chicken soup is loaded with shreds of dark and white meat, chopped carrots, and matzo balls the size of a fist. You'll find it all here: coleslaw peppered with celery seed; lacy, crisp latkes; tangy pickled beets and crunchy health salad; lox; gefilte fish; Scotch creamed herring; thinly sliced beef tongue. Next time it's your turn to cook a traditional dinner, let Zaroff's make the brisket and stuffed cabbage--it even comes with carrot tzimmes. Everything is made onsite, except the cheesecake, which is flown in from New York's famed Carnegie Deli. You'll almost think you're at 43rd and Third. Don't believe us? What are we, chopped liver?
