There are degrees of dumping, it's true. Yet the Loon's parking lot fits the bill in most instances. For one thing, there's nothing like a Loon popsicle or a pack of cigarettes to gently ease into a congenial split. Too brief an affair--or too volatile--for in-person confrontation? The Loon's lot has two pay phones: one drive-up and one walk-up. Put in 35 cents and join dumpers through the years who have screeched at their steadies via those very mouthpieces, appropriately near the Loon's unsettling circus mural. Finally, there's something deliciously ironic about giving someone the heave-ho in front of a store named after birds that mate for life.
