You betcha, it's your first look at Fargo season two

Look at that sweater... and that hair! It's like That '70s Murder up in here.

Look at that sweater... and that hair! It's like That '70s Murder up in here.

We're going back to Fargo... the show, that is. FX finally revealed the first official trailer for season two of the hit show, and it doesn't look like they've fallen victim to the dreaded sophomore slump. (But there are definitely some victims here.) In fact, we think this season looks even better than the first.

This time around, the show's creator Noah Hawley is taking us back to the '70s to tag along with a young Lou Solverson (played here by Patrick Wilson) while the dreaded "Sioux Falls incident" happens around him. During the first season, there's a long, tense scene in the diner when Lou (then-retired from the force) tells Lorne Malvo about how there were so many bodies, you could stack them to the second floor.

By the looks of things in this trailer, waiting patiently for season two has paid off.

There's an all-star cast including Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson, Jean Smart, Jesse Plemons, Kieran Culkin, Brad Garrett, Jeffrey Donovan, Bokeem Woodbine, Ted Danson, Cristin Milioti, Nick Offerman sans mustache (what!), and Bruce Campbell as Ronald Reagan. (Double what!) There's more of that Coen-esque dark humor (just wait for the ear scene), all the bleak Minnesota tundra you can stand to look at, incredible retro fashion and decor... and a lot of Minnesota Nice underneath all that blood.

Besides once again being set in Minnesota, there's another tie we've got to this season: St. Paul Conservatory for the Performing Arts alum Rachel Keller will be playing a character named Simone.

Without further ado, here's the first official trailer for Fargo.

Can't get enough? Here are a couple more teaser trailers (including Dunst doing her best Lady Macbeth) to hold you over until the second season premieres this October on FX.
