This spring, Wizard World Minneapolis will return for its third year in the Twin Cities, taking over the Minneapolis Convention Center for three days of cosplay, costume contests, speed-dating, the sellers' floor, and celebrity talks and meet-and-greets.
The chances of Batman-related cosplay will be high this year, as Robin Lord Taylor, who plays the Penguin on CW's Gotham, will be attendance. Another Gotham alum, the always bad-ass James Frain (True Blood, The Tudors) will also be heading to Minneapolis.
Whedon-heads can also rejoice, as Jewel Staite (Firefly, Serenity) and James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) are on the schedule.
Other memorable celebs coming to the convention are Billy Boyd (The Lord of the Rings trilogy), Falk Hentschel (Legends of Tomorrow), and Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk). Jason David Frank (a.k.a. the Green Ranger) will also be returning to chat (and possibly teach a class like last year?).
Wizard World will take over the Minneapolis Convention center May 6-8. For a complete list of guests, which include podcasters, voice actors, comic artists, and more, visit wizardworld.com.
