Whatever you want at LoLa Art Crawl this weekend

This Saturday and Sunday marks the third-annual art crawl of the League of Longfellow artists, a.k.a. LoLa. For anyone who isn't quite ready to tackle opening weekend of the Minnesota State Fair, but still want to get out and about as much as possible during the waning summer days, LoLa's Art Crawl has plenty to offer.

Because this event is smaller than many summer art festivals, visitors get the chance to peek into artists' studios rather than portable, crowded display tents. [jump]

The variety of art for sale includes jewelry, glasswork, painting, photography, textiles, pottery, gardens, and sculpture. Over 70 artists will participate in the LoLa art crawl, including painter Jeff Weispfenning, ceramics sculptor Lee Love, jewellers Jenny Levernier and Rebecca Wicklund, zoomorphic assemblage artist of Al Wadzinski, and many more.

The third-annual LoLa Art Crawl is this Saturday, August 27, and Sunday August 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Visit LoLa to find out more about the participating artists and to print your own art crawl map.
