Wes Anderson film retrospective announced

Wes Anderson film retrospective announced
Shot from the The Grand Budapest Hotel

Last weekend, St. Anthony Main Theatre kicked off a week-long event honoring the career of the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman with a few screenings and special happenings. This week, the Film Society of Minneapolis-St. Paul announced that it will be celebrating the career of Wes Anderson at the same theater, as well as Parkway Theater. Whether you're a fan of romance (Moonrise Kingdom), adorable kiddie fare (The Fantastic Mr. Fox), or Bill Murray in somber mode (The Life Aquatic, The Royal Tenenbaums), you'll be able to get your fix here. (Sorry, Rushmore fans, this is literally the only full-length Wes Anderson flick not screening.)

The event culminates in a private viewing of The Grand Budapest Hotel, which is free for members of the society who RSVP (you can become a member now if you're dying for a pass). Tickets to all other shows are $5. Check out the complete schedule after the jump.
