Folks and their furry friends gathered at the AgStar Arena at the State Fair Grounds to mix, mingle, and answer the question: "Who's a good doggie?"
Popular events at Saturday's Dog Olympics included a costume contest, fast fetch (which is exactly what it sounds like), obstacle runs, and a peanut butter eating contest. Throughout the day, demonstrations from the St. Paul Police Dogs and the Minnesota Disc Dogs kept the crowd entertained between competitions.
But it wasn't just about the canines at the Dog Olympics -- there were even a few itty-bitty kittens up for adoption.
Proceeds from the third-annual Dog Olympics, hosted by the U of M's College of Veterinary Medicine, benefitted the St. Paul K-9 Foundation.
