UPDATED: Dave Chappelle is coming to Minnesota for eight shows
File this one as under the radar: David Chappelle has quietly been scheduled to perform at First Avenue next week. Thankfully, this time he's given us a bit more warning, as the standup's last Minneapolis show at the State Theatre was announced about 24 hours before the set.

[UPDATED SHOW INFO: This go-around he'll be hitting up First Avenue for four shows. Performances will be at 6:30 and 10 p.m. on Monday, November 11 through Thursday, November 14. All events are 18+, and tickets are $55.]

Chappelle has had a few meltdowns onstage recently, most notoriously during a Hartford, Connecticut, show where the audience heckled him and acted like assholes in general. Hopefully, Minnesota will give him a better reception, as his last visit featured a late-night party that obviously yielded some good times.

When not touring for Funny or Die or other projects, Chappelle lives a relatively low-key life on a farm in Xenia, Ohio, with his wife and kids.
