Tour de Fat bike and beer fest
The weather (mostly) behaved during Saturday's Tour de Fat, a festival celebrating bikes and beer. Turnout at the event's second trip to Minnesota was up: Around 4,000 festival-goers were in attendance at Loring Park, 30 kegs of beer were consumed, and $16,000 was raised to benefit bike-friendly causes including the Midtown Greenway, BAM, and MORA.
The crowd was friendly and fun to watch. People showed up in costumes ranging from whimsically silly to drag to DIY superhero threads.
