Three free things do to this week

This week in free things to do we have some bike rides, homages to mythical creatures, and a yoga session. Come take a look and plan your week for cheap.

Free Yoga

(Union Depot, 214 Fourth St. E., St. Paul; 651-202-2700)

Mondays suck. Help blast through the blahs at this free yoga class in the Waiting Room studio at Union Depot. At the event, you'll be guided by Studio925 by CorePower Yoga & Spa. Bring your own water, mat, and other workout necessities for this free, hour-long class designed to get the blood flowing. 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Unicorn Art Show: 2

(Casket Arts Community, 681 17th Ave. NE, Minneapolis; 612-788-5551)

For generations, unicorns have inspired teen girls, cosplayers, kink memes makers, and other artists. They are so beloved that “unicorn poop,” rainbow-colored baked goods doused in glitter, is now a thing. This Thursday, Casket Arts will revel in all things unicorn with a massive group show. At this party, there will be unicorn-themed art galore from over 50 participating artists. Guests are encouraged to be part of the show as well: Princesses, dragons, pegasus, and any variety of My Little Pony are welcome. Want to bike to the event? A queer-, femme-, and family-friendly ride of unicorns and other magical creatures will meet at Powderhorn Park Community Center at 5:15 p.m. for a chill ride (with prizes for best costume). 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday.

30 Days of Biking: Surly Thursday Rides

(Surly Brewing Company, 520 Malcolm Ave. SE, Minneapolis; 763-535-3330)

Meet at 6 p.m. for this 30 Days of Biking ride through the Twin Cities with Mario Macaruso. The pace will be at a medium intensity, covering about 10- to 15-miles total. No cyclist will be left behind, and all skill levels are welcome. Bring water, and money for beer if that is how you roll. 6 p.m. Thursday.
