St. Paul may have been declared one of the least stylish cities in the U.S., but thankfully folks still want to hear about Twin Cities fashion on a national level. Ellen Lawson, author of The Minneapoline
blog, recently spoke with CNN about our well-dressed town.
[jump] The piece, titled Double the style in the Twin Cities, encourages readers to look beyond Paris, Milan, and New York City for sartorial inspiration. Lawson gives plenty of examples as to how we are evolving into a stylish town, from the rise of Voltage, to the founding of MNfashion, to the shift from DIY-looks to more vintage threads.
The story, which also features a slideshow where Lawson critiques some street fashion, can be found here.
