Summer fashion: A Mighty Swell sale, poolside runway show, Cliché jewelry mart this weekend

Now that the snow has melted and the rain has stopped pouring, local fashionistas are ready to show off their best summer looks. But while it's always fun to switch out the closet as the season changes to more amicable weather, last season's looks often need a little freshening up in order to look hot again.

Fortunately, this week several businesses around the Twin Cities will be offering fun fashion events to give you new ideas (and perhaps a few new items) to try out and wear in the coming months.

Check out our roundup of shopping events, parties, and runway shows after the jump.
