'Spotique' at spotArt features 2010 in review

As we approach the end of the year best-of lists and compilations will begin cropping up everywhere. Even the founder of Twitter was on television recently citing the best tweets of 2010. So it's no surprise that organizations and people around the Twin Cities are taking part as well.

Lucky for us, the northeast Minneapolis gallery spotArt is also getting involved with their December exhibit "Spotique."

The opening reception for spotArt's year-in-review exhibit "Spotique" will be this Friday from 7 until 11 p.m. Expect to see an exceptional sampling of works from every artist featured at the gallery in 2010, totaling about 56 accomplished creatives in all.
The show will run until February 4, and will include one or two pieces each from local talents. The evening will feature live performances by David Harland at 8 p.m. and Bill Patten at 9 p.m., along with henna tattoo art for interested guests by Judy Ostrowski throughout the evening.

As always, the show is free and open to the public, and could be a great place to get your own year in review started.
