It's a sad day when a female-friendly, sex-positive store can't make it work. Smitten Kitten's satellite store in Denver closed its doors this Monday. Despite hosting fun events, including a DIY pasties workshop and a lecture on real world sex versus porn sex, the store couldn't attract enough business to stay afloat. Where's the love, Denver?
[jump] But fortunately this means more goodies for Minneapolis, as items from the other store are being shipped to the award-winning Lyn-Lake location. And while we're sad to see the other Kitten close, the original spot appears to be doing well. Upcoming events scheduled at the store include a workshop on being a raunchy feminist and a launch party for Salacious magazine.
For more information on the store, or to check on the "ethical porn on demand" section (which we assume is NSFW), visit www.smittenkittenonline.com.
