ROBOTlove moving sale has designer deals galore!

As we told you a couple months back, awesome Uptown design boutique ROBOTlove will be picking up shop and moving to new digs in the PUNY/Pink Hobo complex in Northeast Minneapolis as of June. What does that mean for you? Well, to lighten their load, RL will be slashing prices on their current stock of cool collectible toys, designer housewares, magazines, clothing and cute knickknacks!
All this week through Sunday, May 30th you can save 20-70% off ROBOTlove's ENTIRE selection of thoughtfully curated merch! Owner Kristoffer Knutson tells the Dressing Room that designer t-shirts are flying off the shelves for as low as $5 a pop and that limited edition, artsy collectibles from the likes of artists such as Camille Rose Garcia and Frank Kozik are still in stock. If you've been to the shop, you know their art and design book selection is unparalleled, and during the sale all books are 30% off! Not to mention, RL has awesome doo-dads, thingamajigs and whatchamacallits galore which make perfect gifts (for you or someone else).
The week-long moving sale culminates in a big swap meet on Sunday the 30th -- the last hurrah at the Lyndale space before it moves to Northeast. The Swap invites avid collectors and store regulars to bring their doubles and unwanted designer toys and other items and either trade or sell. So whether you're a collector who wants to par down your obsessive collection, or one that wants to beef it up, odds are this Sunday will be the place to do so. Plus, there will be coffee and cookies!
The beloved shop will reopen in the PUNY/Pink Hobo space at 507 E. Hennepin the first week in June, followed by an art opening at Pink Hobo on June 16th as part of the FlashBelt Conference. ROBOTlove is also planning an official grand opening party sometime in July.
ROBOTlove, 2648 Lyndale Ave. S., Uptown Minneapolis, 612-871-9393. Store Hours: Monday thru Saturday 11-7, Sunday 12-6.
