Pale Rider, Lisa Lampanelli: Slideshows from the weekend
Benjamin Carter Grimes
This weekend MNFashion Week was in full effect with rooftop runways, dance parties, and other fashionable events. Meanwhile, comic Lisa Lampanelli tried her best to offend Minnesota crowds with her cruel brand of humor. We loved her anyway.
Pale Rider kicked the weekend off Friday night with their highly-anticipated fashion show. Created by Raul Osario and Danielle Everine, the line's inspiration ran the gamut from lacy Victorian-era heroins to the Wild West frontier. You can view the runway fashion at our slideshow, Pale Rider fashion show featuring Raul Osario, Danielle Everine. The crowd was runway worthy as well, check out our party pics at Pale Rider fashion show attendees dress to the nines.
Meanwhile, Queen of Mean Lisa Lampanelli ruled the stage Saturday night at the State Theatre. Her mission was simple: To offend Minnesotan crowds. Despite a thorough discussion of her boyfriend's balls, the audience was left laughing uproariously rather than clutching their pearls. See what you missed at Lisa Lampanelli loves Minneapolis.
Also, as usual our First Avenue photobooth captured the night's tomfoolery. Click here to take a look.
