MNfashion announces its Minneapolis-St. Paul Fashion Week lineup
Sure, we've got at least a month left of wearing maxi dresses, flip flops, and floppy hats before sweater season takes over. However, Minneapolis-Paul Fashion Week is just around the corner. And while it's always sad to see the warmer months go, the festival of local fashion helps take the sting away, much like an afternoon of back-to-school shopping.
To whet our appetites, MNfashion recently released its schedule for this season's Minneapolis-St. Paul Fashion Week. Things kick off with Envision: Artopia, a posh night featuring glam local looks. The fashion festival will be visiting the Walker Art Center for two events as well: Avant Garden, the museum's annual benefit celebration, and Walker After Hours, where '60s styles will reign. Returning for yet another go around will be two evenings of the Shows, the Emerging Designer Showcase, and the always-wild Full Fashion Panic, boasting a runway of crazy clothes inspired by anime and manga cultures.
The official press announcement cites the lineup as follows:
Friday, September 20:
· Envision: Artopia
Saturday, September 21:
