Mistletoe Men rove the cities, pucker up for charity
It's an unusual benefit, to say the least. While some organizations are collecting canned food and toys, one group is roving the street in search of folks willing to kiss a stranger under the mistletoe for a good cause. Dubbed "The 12 Days of Kissmas," four employees from the MarketingLab will be wandering the city as "Mistletoe Guys." So, are you willing to kiss a random dude for charity?
For each kiss a Mistletoe Guy receives a dollar will be donated to Adopt a Family Minnesota, which provides for families in need who can't afford a holiday. So far 359 kisses have been collected in the first four days. Their goal is to hit 1,200 kisses total.
Each day the group uploads YouTube clips showcasing the best kisses and adventures of the day. Their site also provides a daily schedule. In the coming week the guys plan to hit up the Mall of America, the Holidazzle Parade, a pre-game celebration at the Metrodome, and the Edina Mall. Tonight, they will hopefully be kissing up a storm at the early show for First Avenue's 40th Anniversary Party.
