Minneapolis Comic Con Returns This Spring

itemprop

Last year, Wizard World's first-ever Minneapolis Comic Con brought thousands of sci-fi lovers, fantasy buffs, and comics fans out to the Convention Center to mix and mingle, see celebs, and pick up a bunch of geeky gear. Comic Con is back again in 2015, and we're excited for this year's shenanigans.

This year's new, geeky guests (so far) include Karl Urban (Star Trek, Lord of the Rings), Christian Serratos (The Walking Dead, Twilight), Morena Baccarin (Firefly), and Christopher Judge (Stargate SG-1). The original duo from the 1992 Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry will be one of this spring's big blasts from the past.

Later this spring, Wizard World will probably add a few more sci-fi heavy hitters so we'll keep you posted when we hear about them. Last year, there were rumors that Sherlock's Benedict Cumberbatch would make an appearance, which didn't pan out, but rumors of a Doctor Who reunion with Eleven and Amy Pond Matt Smith and Karen Gillan came true.

Tickets for all three days of Comic Con will run you $75 for general admission access or $199 for VIP access. If you're just checking out one or two days of the Con, you can get passes for individual days: $35 for Friday, $45 for Saturday, and $40 for Sunday (with a $10 jump at the door for both three-day and individual passes).
