Mad Men season premiere party: Style guide

The fourth season of the beloved AMC drama Mad Men begins airing this Sunday. Want to celebrate the premiere in style? Head to historic, Jax Cafe (1928 University Ave. NE, Minneapolis) on July 25th. Tickets to the dinner and screening are already sold out, but you can still attend the afterparty in your '60s best with a brandy and cigar tasting at midnight. To purchase tickets to the afterparty, click here.

But what should one where to such an event? Perhaps a dashing suit in the style of Don Draper or a jewel town wiggle dress fit for Joan Holloway. We at City Pages have some ideas on how you can find a Mad Men-worthy outfit locally.

The Twin Cities play host to countless vintage shops which are sure to hold some '60s treasures that are perfect for an occasion such as this.

One of our recommendations is Eat Street favorite, Blacklist Vintage. The shop is full of fabulous '60s wares (follow them on Twitter here to see what's in store). Blacklist's in house alteration service, Sew Simple, is offering a 15% discount to anyone who wants to get a piece altered for the event, just mention "Mad Men".
