Lizz Winstead rearranges NYE shows after injury
Comedian Lizz Winstead's yearly Twin Cities New Year's Eve shows are generally sold-out by the big day. Last month, it was announced that the Daily Show co-founder would be hosting four shows this weekend through the holiday. However, due to an injury, there has been a slight tweak to the schedule.
Unfortunately, the political satirist recently fell and busted her knee. So, wisely following doctor's orders, she will spending less time standing. Meaning, her two New Year's Even shows will be combining into one big celebration. Winstead's shows on Friday and Saturday will be unaffected.
The new holiday show on Monday will start at 8:30 p.m. Folks who already have tickets need to check in with Brown Paper Tickets at 1.800.838.3006 and either ask for their tickets to be honored for the 8:30 p.m. show, or to ask for a refund.
