HGTV/DIY Network is casting for Renovation Raiders, I Hate My Kitchen
Renovation Raiders do their thing: Before and after shots
Do you have a bathroom that is rocking a '70s vibe, and not in a good way? Do you avoid certain rooms in your house just because they're depressing? Are you looking to remodel a part of your home on national television? Then you might be a good candidate to appear on one of two shows HGTV and the DIY Network are currently casting for in the Twin Cities.
Renovation Raiders, now in its second season, has a pretty hilarious premise. Basically, you take your spouse out to a nice dinner. In the meantime, pros revamp an ugly room in your house, from top to bottom. Meaning, you get to freak your partner out by surprising them with a redesign that includes floors, walls, decor, appliances, and more. Added bonus? The redo is completely free.
For this program, HGTV is looking for folks living in the Minneapolis metro area.
Meanwhile, I Hate My Kitchen hooks folks up with a professional redesign team to show the process of redoing a space. For this one, depending on the scope of the work needed, you'll probably have to contribute to the remodel. You also need to live within 25 miles of downtown Minneapolis, and be open to what they call "out of the box" ideas.
