HandmadeMN Market this Saturday lets you shop local Etsy in person

In case you missed last weekend's Fashion Holiday Bazaar, and/or you don't feel like tromping around in the snow this weekend for the NE Holiday Boutique Crawl, there's a one-stop shop of unique, local wares right off the pages of Etsy just for you.

Check out the James Ballentine VFW on Lyndale his Saturday for the HandmadeMN Market featuring a stellar group of MN Etsy artists. There will be plenty to peruse, and there's even a good chance of getting your mitts on a free swag bag or a fabulous gift basket just for showing up.

The fall edition of the HandmadeMN Market will roll out the carpets of genuine local handcrafted creations this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  More than 45 local artists will be on display, filling two levels of the Uptown VFW with one-of-a-kind designs sure to dazzle your special someone(s) around the holidays.

Everything from jewelry, ceramics, paper goods, toys, clothing, photography, home décor, soaps, artwork, and accessories will be ready and waiting to get snapped up and stuffed into a stocking.

The first 25 attendees will be the lucky recipients of swag bags brimming with handmade goodies donated by participating vendors like LittleBigPants, SacredSuds, TCWithcraft Factory, and more. All attendees can enter to win one of the two gift baskets as well, valued at over $150 a piece.

Of course all of these HandmadeMN Market participants are on Etsy, where creative craftiness overflows. Thankfully, the Twin Cities will get a chance to see some of our local creations up close and personal -- and just in time for the season of gift giving.

The James Ballentine VFW is located on Lyndale just off Lake Street, with free parking in the back off of Aldrich.
