Free First Saturday: Fantastic Fourth

This Saturday, the Walker is celebrating Fourth of July weekend with a family-friendly party in the Sculpture Garden. Bring a blanket and enjoy tunes from Justin Roberts & the Not Ready for Naptime Players, as well as the Grammy Award-nominated Brass Messengers. Learn how to jump rope both single and double-dutch style from YWCA coaches. Make a crazy art hat with scraps of fabric and other bits, or make musical instruments and noise makers before joining the parade around the park. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
