Four free things to do this week
The Brooklyn Brewery Mash

On Monday, Brooklyn Brewery co-founder Steve Hindy will chat with beer experts from Schell Brewing, Fulton, Urban Growler Brewing Company, and Growler Magazine at Fulton Brewing Company (2540 Second St. NE., Minneapolis). You'll need to RSVP here, but doing so also nabs you a free beer.

Philomena is an award-winning movie starring Judi Dench as a lady who spends 50-plus years looking for her son, who she was forced to give up for adoption as a young woman. Steve Coogan stars as a journalist who tries to help her find him. Monday at 8:30 p.m.
