First annual Hamm Building Summer Stroll

The daily lunch routine can grow to be a bit dull. Thankfully during summer, when workers aren't restricted to the skyways for dining options, it's easier to shake things up.

Over in St. Paul there is even more reason to get out and squeeze every last minute out of your lunch hour, not only to soak up a little vitamin D, but also to peruse some locally made gifts, and perhaps even make your own.

This afternoon marks the first annual Hamm Building Summer Stroll. The Hamm Building is home to many local businesses, including Heimie's Haberdashery, Landmark Jewelers, and Artist Mercantile, all of whom will be participating in today's shopping event. There will be sidewalk specials, complimentary ring cleanings and inspections, paint-your-own ceramics, and refreshments.

The Summer Stroll isn't a very long affair -- the retailers of the Hamm Building will have special offers from noon to 3 p.m. The Hamm Building is located in downtown St. Paul on Wabasha Street between East Sixth and East Seventh Streets.
