Yes, the snow is coming down hard today. But in the relatively near future spring will arrive, and with it comes Fashion Week MN's spring installment. The biannual festival is typically filled with trunk shows, posh parties, runway showcases, and other fab events celebrating local threads and the designers who create them.
Spring 2016's installment looks to be great, as today event organizer Sarah Edward pointed out that the official website has been updated and dates have been announced.
This year's glam party runs April 8 through 16, and will feature a variety of happenings, including a kick-off party at Cliche. Flagship event Envision will be taking over Orchestra Hall once again for a Saturday-night shindig. Other intriguing parties include "Black Magic Woman II," an exhibition at Norseman Distillery featuring photography, modeling, and designs by talented ladies. Also scheduled are runway shows highlighting designs by Joynoelle and TIM + THOM, and panel talks about the industry.
It's never too early to plan your week! For a complete schedule of happenings, check out fashionweekmn.com.
