Elixery hosts Cosmetic Candy Store pop-up shop this week
Some unique hues from Elixery
Over the past couple years, Twin Cities makeup brand Elixery has worked with local celebs to create unique lipstick hues, including rap-poet Dessa and the Minnesota Rollergirls. They've also showed up a fashion parties, such as Voltage, with limited-edition products. But for the most part, fans of the cult-classic line do most of their shopping on the brand's website. That will change for a bit this week, as Elixery will be hosting A Cosmetic Candy Store all week in honor of Valentine's Day.

In addition to shopping hours, the Cosmetic Candy Store will also host a variety of events throughout the week. During lunchtime daily, Hennepin Theatre Trust will be presenting various dance performances. Thursday evening from 4 to 6 p.m., the Elixery will be offering up new hues to give input on at its Prototype Party, and on Friday makeup artists will be on hand for mini-makeovers in celebration (or anger) at Valentine's Day.

The Elixery specializes in vegan and cruelty-free products. Meaning they don't test on animals or use animal parts in production. For more info on the brand, visit www.elixery.com.
