This cycle of So You Think You Can Dance? is airing, and they are currently on the audition leg of the show. Meaning, in each episode there are a lot of heartwarming story segments, horrific meltdowns onstage, and at least one mediocre dancer montage per episode. With judges evaluating professional hopefuls for hours and hours, there are also some silly bits where people get a little slap happy.
One dad from Eagan was a super good sport, and provided one of those moments.
[jump] When Mary LeVoir traveled from the Twin Cities to Los Angeles, she brought her dad, Patrick, along for support. After giving an impressive jazz-dance performance, which earned her a coveted golden ticket to the next round of auditions in Las Vegas, the judges invited her dad onstage to show what he can do.
He could not do much, but what he could do was ham it up and be funny. “I know that I can’t dance,” he joked, playing off the show's title.
