Changes to Wits lineup: Ellie Kemper out, Scott Aukerman and Eugene Mirman in


There's been a shakeup to the lineup of the November 7 installment of Wits. Ellie Kemper (The Office, Bridesmaids) and musical guest Waxahatchee have both canceled their upcoming appearance on the program. Scott Aukerman, Eugene Mirman, and Kathleen Edwards will be featured that evening instead.

Kemper canceled due to scheduling conflicts with a film she is working on. (Perhaps Sex Tape, with Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz?) The musical guest for the show, Waxahatchee, is also bowing out due to a family emergency. Both plan to reschedule their appearances on the MPR program soon.

While two artists are out, three are now in for the Thursday, November 7, evening. Scott Auckerman of IFC's Comedy Bang! Bang! fame and standup/actor Eugene Mirman, a.k.a. the voice of Gene on Bob's Burgers, will be bringing their humorous musings to Wits. Kathleen Edwards will is slated as a musical guest for the event.
