Brett Favre's Christmas Spectacular

It seems Brett Favre and his drama-fueled shenanigans will be the topic of conversation for at least one more week (we can only hope). But as the holidays and the Vikings season come to a close, take a moment to reflect on all that has come and gone with Brave New Workshop's annual Brett Favre inspired holiday revue, Brett Favre's Christmas Spectacular: The Second Coming.

This year the show will most likely have you laughing your way out of 2010, and happily landing in 2011 with a smile (and hopes of a new quarterback next year).

The annual production pairs holiday troubles with current sports news. For example, Santa wants to hang up his red suit and belly pad when retirement-waffler Favre offers up his invaluable advice: Quit, come back, then super quit, wait no, then come back.

Actors and comediens Josh Eakright, Joe Bozic, Lauren Anderson, Bobby Garnder, and Ellie Hinoover take audiences through a hilariously sad holiday season, from playing out horror movies about carolers at your front door to the plight of a sugar-free Santa. All the while Favre, like his passes last season, are the thread that holds all the funny together, with help from the holiday usual characters, and Charlie Sheen.

Brett Favre's Christmas Spectacular II: The Second Coming will play on until January 29. Tickets are available online and showtimes are anywhere from 7 to 10 p.m.
