The North Loop is about to get way hipper, namely the corner of First Street North and Second Street North. Sound familiar? That's where you can pick up a certifiably lumbersexual wardrobe at Askov Finlayson, stop by the Bachelor Farmer for a swanky Scandinavian dinner, and top your evening off with an inventive nightcap through the purple door at Marvel Bar.

In just a few weeks, Askov Finlayson will open their new and expanded flagship store right there at 204 First Street North, which is right next to their current location. The new spot will double their square footage, so you'll be able to stretch your Red Wing-clad feet a little more while browsing for stylish local and international goods.

Soon you'll be also able to try on your vintage-inspired Warby Parker specs in-store instead of ordering a bunch of pairs and sending back those tortoise-shell rejects via snail mail. The North Loop will soon be home to Minnesota's first Warby Parker showroom at Askov Finlayson's flagship spot, opening in early August.

“We couldn’t think of a friendlier partner for putting down roots in Minneapolis," said Neil Blumenthal, Warby Parker's co-founder and co-CEO, in a press release. Minnesota nice for the win.

Men's apparel and lifestyle store Askov Finlayson was founded in 2011 by Eric and Andrew Dayton when they also launched the Bachelor Farmer and Marvel Bar. The Dayton brothers' hip little empire on the corner has brought VIPs from around the world for various events, including fundraisers for President Obama and Vice President Biden. The annual Kraftskiva block party and festival brings out local celebs like Josh Hartnett (standing tall among a sea of yellow party hats), and just this past weekend, actress Emmy Rossum stopped by for a meal at TBF.

Will we see some luminaries getting their duds and some sunnies at Askov Finlayson's big ol' flagship shop? All signs point to yes probably, so polish up your shiny, new Warby Parkers and keep an eye out.
