Adam Turman's MN State Fair Commemorative Art Unveiled

Back in November, it was announced that Adam Turman would be creating the commemorative poster for this year's Minnesota State Fair. Yesterday afternoon the official piece was revealed. Turman's past work has often featured iconic Twin Cities structures including First Avenue, the 1st Building, and the Como Conservatory. The fair poster is no different, deriving inspiration from an entrance sign, the Ferris wheel, and the Grandstand.

Take a look at the complete poster after the jump.

Turman's work goes beyond event posters. His murals can be spotted on Butcher & the Boar and Sisyphus Brewing, and he has also provided label and logo work for brands including Surly Brewing Co., Peace Coffee, and Electric Fetus.

More info on the poster can be found on the Minnesota State Fair's website.
