'1968 Film Festival' screens Saturday
The 2010 "1968 Film Festival" will take place tomorrow at the Minnesota History Center, showcasing short films triggered by any and all things related to that crucial turning point in American history; the year 1968. And the best part is, it's sure to be educational, enlightening, and it is definitely free.
Each visual artist took on the weighty endeavor of creating a film about any aspect of 1968. Whether it's a personal story, political commentary, or inspired by pop culture, the films all touch on a year in which our nation was in a constant tidal wave of change. After watching the films, audience members will have a chance to ask questions, as each screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
