The Rebirth won a Grammy for 2011's Rebirth of New Orleans, whose double entendre title reflects a persistent theme as the city continues to bounce back post-Katrina. But three decades in, the Rebirth itself hasn't required rejuvenation. The band just keeps getting tighter, maybe funkier too, the horn solos smarter and more pointed, but never at the expense of its ultimate aim: fueling the second line, firing up the party, electrifying the dance floor. The Rebirth's new Move Your Body does all that with its raucous NOLA blend of jazz, soul, R&B, and funk. The band whips up its own frenzy with scorching horns, furious rhythms, and party-hearty call-and-response shouts, all in service of the essential query: "Can you tell me where da party at? RIGHT HERE!"
