More About

There are plenty of ways to celebrate your independence this Fourth of July weekend, but nothing is more patriotic than riding your bike without pants. Now in its eighth year, the Freedom From Pants Ride is a fun, free bike parade where cyclists of all abilities and body types can ditch their clothes and cruise through Minneapolis while making several stops along the way. Pants-less riders are invited to meet up in the vacant parking lot near White Castle (the most patriotic of all fast-food restaurants) in northeast Minneapolis at 6 p.m., with the clothes-free ride rolling out at 7 p.m. Sadly, this year there won't be any fireworks in Powderhorn Park (the location that has served as the final stop of the tour in past years), so riders will likely pedal back into Northeast to cap off the evening.
