Among your planned Pride activities this year, you'll definitely want to carve out some space for Queertopia, the annual cabaret of queer performances, hosted at Intermedia Arts and co-presented by Bedlam Theatre. Now in its ninth year, Queertopia takes on the theme of "Queerrevolution" for this installment, where the performers explore questions of building a stronger community and taking action. Curated by Jeffry Lusiak and Nastalie Bogira, this year's show will be emceed by GoGo Pimp Tif and boasts a lineup that includes dances by Deja Stowers, Chitra Vairavan, and Supergroup. Other works will be presented by Chris Garza, Katie Burgess, Nicole M. Smith, and Lisa Marie Brimmer. Look for collaborations between performance artist Emily Zimmer and aerialist Jim Domenick, as well as a piece called "The Big Gay Mexican" created by Stacy Schultz and Hector Chavarria. The show will also include an immersive installation created by Chrys Carrol and the Tantrum Art Collective.
Wednesdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m. Starts: June 25. Continues through June 28, 2014
