Beautiful ruins, and the mysteries they incite in our imaginations, are the subjects of Cameren Torgerud's new exhibition. Using high-dynamic-range imaging, he forays not only into abandoned structures across the country, but also into the very details — the sensuous texture of crumbling walls, the folds and plasticity of discarded objects — to document the narratives of the left behind. Meditative, evocative, melancholy, and a little creepy, Torgerud's images entice with the decay of the untended. There will be an opening reception from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 10.
Thursdays, Saturdays, 2-6 p.m. Starts: May 10. Continues through May 31, 2014
