You can enjoy great local craft beer every day of the week. But for 10,000 Minutes of Minnesota Craft Beer, brewmasters and pubs in our state will be upping their game. The statewide festival, which started earlier this week, features a wide variety of happenings, such as taproom takeovers, brew launches, firkin tappings, rare brew tastings, parties, and tours all centered on celebrating Minnesota craft beer. Highlights include beer lovers speed dating at Herkimer, St. Paul's Muddy Pig turning all 48 of its taps over to Minnesota beers, Surly's Pentagram release party at Amsterdam Bar & Hall, and Fulton's Grand Fondo, a daylong event featuring a 100-mile bike ride and a festival offering food trucks, live music, $5 beers, and the release of the Randonneur, Fulton's new summer Saison. For a complete list of happenings, locations, and more (and yes, it's an epic schedule), visit www.mncraftbrew.org/10000minutes.
