A lot can happen in a year. Since we last spoke to comedian Andy Hendrickson, he has made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. "Oh, and I did a movie," he adds. Hendrickson was featured in the comedy concert film The Clean Guys of Comedy, along with Dave Coulier, Jamie Kennedy, and Heather McDonald. He also started dabbling in making short films. "I've done a couple," he says. "They're mostly short sketches. There's one called Switch Up. It's a bit raunchy. And then I did another one about some people who try to steal their neighbor's wi-fi password." His latest is based on those stick-figure families you see on the back of minivans and such. "This guy's wife leaves him, and his dog dies, so he has to keep scratching another one off. I won't spoil the ending, but it's a surprise." Currently based in New York, Hendrickson is soon to relocate to Los Angeles. "I want to see what's out there," he explains. "I think the goal, like it is for most comics, is to get enough exposure to be able to draw wherever I go and to just have a solid fan base." Perhaps that will get him out of the shadow of his brother, who is a Navy SEAL with a Master's in business from Harvard, something he talked about on Letterman. "I asked my brother, 'What is the secret to your success?'" he tells an audience. "My brother said, 'You just watched all five seasons of Jersey Shore, right? I didn't.'" 18+; 21+ later shows.
