Now that April's 30 Days of Biking is in full swing, it's time for some fun parties celebrating bikes. This Saturday, things kick off early with the Tour De Breweries ride. Meet at Freewheel Midtown Bike Center (2834 10th Ave. S., Minneapolis) at noon, and get ready for a full day of fun and cycling. The first destination will be Day Block Brewing Company, where you can order up brunch. Other stops planned along the way include Lucid Brewery, Steel Toe Brewing, and Dangerous Man Brewing Co. You can join the group along the way, or go the whole route, as the complete schedule can be found online. Later that evening, local print artist and painter Adam Turman will be hosting a bike party and benefit at Chowgirls Killer Catering in northeast Minneapolis. Turman will be sharing a year's worth of artwork, inspired by bicycles and photography taken by friends. Prints and paintings for sale will range from cheap ($25) to spendy ($500), and a portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit Free Bikes 4 Kidz. Beer will be provided by 612, with other treats in store. For more info, visit www.30daysofbiking.com. Both events are free. The ride starts at noon, the art party runs from 7 to 11 p.m.
