The Minnesota Music Coalition's three-day MN Music Summit is sprinkled around St. Paul this weekend. Check out artist and industry workshops, panels, and social gatherings to connect the scene, as well as top-notch performances. It kicks off with a social hour at Summit Brewery on Thursday. Casey Rae from the Future of Music Coalition's keynote address at MPR's UBS Forum follows on Friday, and music-related workshops and mentoring sessions at McNally Smith College of Music continue throughout the afternoon. An all-ages show at Amsterdam Bar and Hall, featuring GRRRL PRTY (pictured), Van Stee, and Beadbox caps the day. Saturday is another full day of panels, mentoring sessions, and workshops at McNally Smith. The MN Music Summit then closes with a happy hour at Amsterdam followed by a concert featuring the Honeydogs, Southwire, and opener Ana Tuiran. All daytime events are free.
