Ever find yourself gazing down Minneapolis's Nicollet Avenue and realizing that there are more restaurants and cuisines to sample there than you'll ever have time for? An event coming up will help you navigate the avenue deliciously nicknamed Eat Street. A dish crawl is akin to a pub crawl, with the added likelihood that you won't actually end the night on your hands and knees. This Wednesday, foodies will gather first at Little Tijuana for the roving feast. Crawlers will sample three different dishes from four different restaurants, all within walking distance. (The exact restaurants will be kept a secret until the night of the event.) In addition to the food, guests will have the opportunity to talk to the chefs and owners and get to know their stories. The event's website promises the happening will be held rain or shine but makes no mention of blizzards, so it's probably best to wear your Sorrels. Tickets include food, but beverages are extra. Vegetarians will be accommodated, but folks with other dietary restrictions should contact organizers before the event. To purchase tickets, visit DishCrawl.com/EatStreet.
