The gastronomic merrymakers behind Gastro Non Grata are at it again, heading back to the Triple Rock Social Club with a mash-up of food and music mayhem. This month's bash, which falls on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, will invite attendees to feast on delicious bites of food from one the hottest restaurants of 2013 and listen to some serious rock 'n' roll. Burch Steak and Pizza will be slinging samples of their much-lauded fare between music sets. How much for these tasty bites? Nothing extra; it's included with the price of admission. So are mini pours of Surly, as brews will be paired with each course. Organizers Craig Drehmel and Jeff Mitchell promise a fast, hard, and heavy music lineup that will shatter eardrums before sending you home, and features Narco States, Green Bay punk stalwarts Rev Norb and the Onions, Repulsar, and Dumpster Juice, who are billed as "The Motörhead of Minneapolis." In between bands, DJ Shannon Blowtorch will spin the perfect mix of classic hits and newer sounds. As always, Clancey's Meats and Fish will share select cuts from their deep freezers for the Dead Meat Door Prize. Your chances look equally good for taking home either a pound of zesty chorizo or an entire beef heart. (If it comes to the latter, may we suggest pickling it?) 18+.
