While some people will be gorging on candy this Halloween weekend, the folks at Twin Cities Veg Fest will be offering treats that are a little easier on the digestive system. The event, put together by Compassionate Action for Animals, will offer a variety of activities and information for those interested going vegetarian or vegan. During the day, people will be able to chat with various local and national organizations on animal rights activism and nutrition. Free vegan food samples will be offered as well, so come hungry. Guests will also be invited to take in live music and listen to presentations. For more info, go to TCVegFest.com.
