This Monday marks the start of something funny in the Twin Cities. For the next six days, theater spaces, standup clubs, restaurants, and other venues around town will be celebrating local comedic talent, from those who are still green to seasoned vets, with a series of unique events. The festival does not adhere to any particular format, and includes storytelling, short-film screenings, improv, standup comedy, theater, and just about anything else that qualifies as funny. The roster boasts over 50 comedians, including Cy Amundson, Isaac Witty, and Mike Brody, who is teaming up with Mark Mallman for the grand finale show. The Comedy Corner Underground, the Joke Joint Comedy Club, HUGE Improv Theater, Club Underground, Galactic Pizza, and Camp Bar are some of the spaces set to host performances.
