Ever since her break-out performance on the Comedy Central roast of Joan Rivers back in 2009, Whitney Cummings has become one of the most recognizable names in comedy. This past year has been somewhat of a rollercoaster for the 31-year-old comic, as she has been both wildly successful on the small screen as the co-creator and executive producer of the hugely popular CBS comedy Two Broke Girls, while seeing her starring vehicles (her sitcom Whitney and canceled far too soon Comedy Central talk show Love You, Mean It) fall by the wayside. What hasn't changed is Cummings's no-holds-barred observations about dating, sex, and fashion, which she'll bring to the Pantages this Friday night. With countless appearances on Chelsea Lately and The Tonight Show, Cummings has kept her standup fangs sharp, and will no doubt cut through the Minneapolis crowd this weekend.
