For the past five years, drag queens from all over the world have done glam-battle with each other on RuPaul's Drag Race, competing to become the next big drag sensation. This weekend, winners and fan favorites from the past five seasons will come together for a live extravaganza when RuPaul's Drag Race: Battle of the Seasons takes over the Varsity Theater. "It's going to be totally different from the show itself," says Michelle Visage, who will tackle hosting duties for the live show. "There's going to be a lot more opportunity to see the girls give their full performances, plus we've got some duets and other surprises in store." Sharon Needles, Alaska Thunderfuck, Pandora Boxx, and many more will share the stage and attempt to outshine each other, but Visage insists that the competition all comes from a place of love. "Of course what people want to put on TV is fighting and drama, but we're really like one big family," she says. "Every girl wants to defend her season and prove it's the best, but more than anything we all just want to show that drag really is an art form." Aside from the queens, is there any chance that the former Seduction vocalist herself might get in on the action? "You never know what's going to happen." 18+.
