If you watch 60 seconds of Mike Wilmot's standup, you'll understand why he's been called "Canada's answer to Bill Hicks." His material is crude, politically incorrect, and fearless, but his fast-talking delivery still manages to keep things upbeat. A native of Canada, Wilmot has made a name for himself in the United Kingdom over the past two decades both onstage and on television, but has performed in pretty much every country with a stage and a microphone. This weekend, he'll make a stop at the Mystic Lake Casino Comedy Club for two nights of raw, cut-to-the-bone comedy that is definitely not suitable for all ages. Whether he's talking about sex, drinking, racism, or soup, Wilmot manages to walk the fine line between offensive and endearing in a way that most comedians can't. This is your best chance to see one of comedy's most refreshingly nasty voices right in our own backyard. With Russ Williamson. 18+.
