Get ready for Macy's Glamorama, one of the most fashionable fundraisers of the summer. The evening boasts fashion and music while raising money to eradicate childhood cancer. "It's a real natural fit for us to work with an amazing group like Children's Cancer Research Fund here in Minneapolis, because they do such great work for the Twin Cities area and throughout the country," says Mike Gansmoe, Macy's vice president of special productions. Glamorama will start out with a high-fashion runway show featuring fall collections by Jean Paul Gaultier, Philosophy, Rachel Roy, TALLIA Orange, Tommy Hilfiger, Weekend MaxMara, Diesel, and Macy's newest Impulse collection, Maison Jules. Grammy Award-winner Sheryl Crow will headline the event, with additional performances by world-renowned talent Cirque du Soleil and Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star contest winner the Summer Set. For VIP ticket holders, the night will continue at Macy's downtown Minneapolis store for an over-the-top after-party. Guests will enjoy lavish culinary creations, signature drinks, and music by K-Twin 96.3's DJ Dan. For more info, visit www.ChildrensCancer.org.
